PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a transponder by taking the synchronization of a health check carrier timing of a slave station in the satellite communication system so as to prevent simultaneous health check carrier by plural slave stations.
CONSTITUTION: A reference timer 1 provided to a master station 2 is in use and synchronization circuits 4A, 4B of slave stations 3A, 3B take synchronization for health check carriers. In the case of awaiting transmission in which a master station 2 and slave stations 3A, 3B are connected by a control circuit 6, health check is implemented between the master station 2 and the slave stations 3A, 3B. When the slave stations 3A, 3B are interconnected by a talking line 5, a carrier for health check of each station is sequentially sent by synchronization circuits 4A, 4B of each slave station whose synchronization is taken with the reference timer 1 of the master station 2.
