PURPOSE: To make it possible to surely recognize to which alarms generated one by one the corresponding operation of a trainee corresponds by synthesizing and displaying the name of an alarm state in the event of the generation of the alarm of a plant.
CONSTITUTION: A laser disk on which all the names of the alarm states are previously registered is housed in a laser disk player 8. Data transmission is executed from an alarm state transmission section 19 in a computer 1 when the alarm arises. The name of the alarm state corresponding to this data is then retrieved from the laser disk and the character videos of this alarm are outputted from the laser disk player 8 as the result of the retrieval. A video synthesizer 9 executes processing to synthesize the character video signal from the laser disk player 8 on a video signal 16 of the training scene from a monitor camera 5. The videos synthesized with the output of the laser disk player 8 are thus given to a video recorder 11, a monitor television 12 for a trainer and a monitor television 13 for learning in the event of the generation of the alarm.
