Abstract:
To reasonably constitute a monitor system capable of reasonably monitoring even in a heavy traffic condition of a network.
A camera 12 of a photograph unit takes moving pictures compressed and coded in the MPEG 2 format and still pictures compressed in the JPEG format. A transmission system is formed to transmit the moving and still pictures to a monitor 25 of a monitor unit over a communication network N, and a load lightening means is provided for transmitting the still picture instead of the moving pictures if the traffic in the communication network N becomes heavy during transmitting the moving pictures.
