Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take countermeasures when a nurse call slave unit cannot perform communication with a sensor device due to a power failure or a fault of the sensor device, etc.SOLUTION: A nurse call slave unit NC includes a first communication section (NC communication IF section 21) capable of performing communication with a sensor device SU and a portable terminal device TA by a radio type communication method; a determination section (communication determination section 23) for determining whether the nurse call slave unit NC can perform communication with the sensor device SU; and a second control section (NC control processing section 20) for performing at least one of two kinds of transmission between the first transmission to allow the first communication section to transmit information indicating communication impossibility with the portable terminal device TA as a transmission destination when the determination section determines that communication is not possible and the second transmission to allow the first communication section to transmit a nurse call with the portable terminal device TA as a transmission destination when the determination section determines that communication is not possible and also when a nurse call is requested by operating the nurse call slave unit NC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
