Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a means to realize detection and reduction of the vibration of rotating blades in a simple manner. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring and control device for blade vibration comprises turbine blades 1, a rotor 3, and an electromagnetic thrust bearing 6, and is provided with a vibration detecting means 9 in the axial direction of the rotor 3 at the turbine thrust bearing 6, a means 10 to judge whether or not the signal from the axial vibration detecting means 9 is derived from the vibration of the turbine blades 1, and a means 11 to control the electric signal at the electromagnetic thrust bearing 6 on the basis of the judgement.
