PURPOSE: To improve monitoring capacity and to cope with an emergency situation rapidly and properly by displaying a plurality of functions and a plurality of pieces of information at an operation switch.

CONSTITUTION: In a power system monitoring device for monitoring the operation state of a facility equipment which is installed at a power system, facility equipment such as circuit breakers and isolators are operated as an operation switch 16 for operating the facility equipment packaged on an operator console and then a liquid crystal type switch 16a for displaying information regarding the facility equipment which is related to the operation switch and then light emitting elements 16b and 16c which are laid out at both sides of the liquid crystal type switch and perform lighting and displaying selectively based on the operation direction (on/off) of the facility equipment according to the operation of the liquid crystal type switch are provided.
