Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for notifying of a decrease in tire air pressure, and prompting air filling when a vehicle is in an equipment environment where air filling for the tire is possible even in a situation that the tire air pressure is not decreased to a level less than a predetermined threshold which requires issuance of a warning.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 1 for receiving an air pressure signal indicating air pressure of a tire 3 of a vehicle, and monitoring the air pressure of each tire 3 includes a first warning part for comparing the air pressure indicated by the received air pressure signal with a first threshold, and, if the air pressure of the tire 3 is less than a first threshold, outputting a warning. The monitoring device 1 also includes a detection part for detecting an equipment environment where air filling for the tire 3 is possible, and a second warning part for, if the equipment environment is detected by the detection part, comparing the air pressure indicated by the received air pressure signal with a second threshold larger than the first threshold, and, if the air pressure of the tire 3 is less than the second threshold, outputting a warning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
