To solve the problem of conventional monitoring and reporting systems wherein it is difficult for a monitoring person to precisely respond to abnormal conditions because state changes of the monitored object are not reported.
In a monitoring and reporting system for reporting the states of the monitored object by means of a monitoring device and reporting the states to an external device, the monitoring device includes a state sensing means for sensing the states of the monitored object; an abnormal state determining means for determining whether or not the monitored device is in an abnormal state when receiving the input of signals from the state sensing means; an abnormal state reporting and determining means for determining whether or not the states determined by the abnormal state determining means should be reported to the external device; a conversation means for conversation with the external device; and a control means for control from the external device.
