Abstract:
To determine a cause of insufficient protection potential when electrolytic protection is performed on a steel foundation beam.SOLUTION: The monitoring system comprises: a concrete pile that is embedded in the ground and in which a plurality of pile reinforcements are arranged; a concrete bottom slab that is set on the surface of the ground and in which a plurality of slab reinforcements are arranged; and a steel foundation part that connects the pile and bottom slab, and at least part of which is embedded in the ground. The foundation part comprises: a steel pile head joint part that is connected to an upper end of the pile; a steel support part that extends upward from the pile head joint part; a current supply part that extends horizontally from the support part and supplies currents to foundation beams of a foundation structure including steel foundation beams that support the bottom slab; a receiving part that receives potential to ground information for foundation beams of the foundation structure; and a processing part that, based on potential to ground information, performs one of or both of the following: determination of whether low earth objects contact foundation beams and determination of whether the outflow of currents is occurring due to interference with stray currents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
