Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (M is equivalent amount of Mg, Ca, Ba, Al or Mn).
USE: Coloring of organic polymer material such as synthetic resins, synthetic fibers, etc. e.g. PE, PS, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, polyamide, etc., masterbatch coloring, and coloring of printing ink and paint. It colors the object in bright orange color with excellent fastness and heat resistance.
PROCESS: The objective compound can be prepared by reacting an azo compound of formula II with a salt of Mg, Ba, Al or Mn. The compound of formula IIis obtained by diazotizing the 2-amino-1,4-benzenedisulfonic acid and coupling with β-naphthol of formula IV.
