Abstract:

To provide a hybridoma which produces a monoclonal antibody specific to Mytilus coruscus larva in adhesion period (pediveliger larva), to provide a method for producing the same, to provide a monoclonal antibody specific to the Mytilus coruscus larva in adhesion period, or to provide a fragment thereof, to provide a reagent for detecting Mytilus coruscus larva in adhesion period, to provide a method for detecting the same, to provide a kit for detecting the same, and to provide a detector therefor.

The method for producing the hybridoma comprises administering the crude extract solution of Mytilus galloprovincialis larva in adhesion period into the abdominal cavity of a mouse, isolating spleen cells from the immunized mouse, fusing the spleen cells with mouse myeloma cells to produce the hybridoma, and then identifying a hybridoma for producing a monoclonal antibody reacting with the Mytilus coruscus larva in adhesion period and not reacting with the Mytilus coruscus type D larva.
