To provide the subject new antibody that comprises a monoclonal antibody specifically recognizing the dihydropyridine structure, recognizes the reaction product between highly unsaturated fatty acid degradation products occurring in vivo oxidation stress and protein and is useful in clinical diagnosis and analysis.
This is a new monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes the dihydropyridine structure, recognizes the dihydropyridine structure formed when malondialdehyde, which is one of peroxidation decomposition products of highly unsaturated fatty acid occurring on in vivo oxidation stress, react with protein and is useful for elucidation of the in vivo oxidation stress, clinic diagnosis and analysis. This monoclonal antibody is prepared by using hemocyanin of KLH modified with malondialdehyde as an antigen, dosing the antigen to a warm blood animal for immunization, fusing the antibody-producing cells with myeloma cells to form hybrid cells, culturing the hybrid cells and collecting the antibody specifically recognizing the dihydropyridine structure from the cell culture mixture.
