Monocytic wandering activity; Inactivated with trypsin without inactivation by treatment with neuraminidase, treatment with ribonuclease and heat treatment at 80°C for 15min, etc.
USE: A remedy for various inflammations and cancer, effective for treating serious infectious diseases by combination with interferon etc., and having the activity of wandering human monocytes, transudate macrophage of guinea pig abdominal cavity.
PREPARATION: A secretion product of huma B cell strain RPMI1788, RPMI8226, Daudi or ARH77 is ultrafiltered to give a fraction having 1,000W10,000mol weight, which is then fractionated with Biogel P-30 column to give the aimed monocytic wandering factor from a fraction having 1,450W3,100mol weight.
