Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monofilament capable of obtaining preferable cushion property by providing a hollow part, because when it is used as a spectacle frame cushioning material, it absorbs a dimensional error and easily improves a bumpy state between a rim and a lens.SOLUTION: The monofilament formed of a thermoplastic resin is used as a cushioning material between a frame and a lens of a spectacle and has an irregular shape. The monofilament is formed of first and second end parts having an arc-shaped contour which becomes a salient shape outward, and divided by a narrow part as a boundary. At least one of the first and second end parts has a hollow part extending in a fiber axis direction.
