Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production apparatus of a monolithic catalyst which can hold base materials of different size in a monolithic catalyst coating process.SOLUTION: A production apparatus 1 of a monolithic catalyst for waste gas cleanup comprises holding means 10 holding a base material 20 as a catalyst carrier. The holding means 10 has a rubber frame 12 shaped in rubber material and holding the base material by contacting with the base material 20, an outer frame 11 supporting the rubber frame 12, a sealing space A provided between the rubber frame 12 and the outer frame 11, and a pressure converter (ejector 13) altering an air pressure in the sealing space A. When the pressure converter stops its operation and the pressure in the sealing space A is a normal pressure, the rubber frame 12 contacts with the base material 20 and holds the base material 20, and when the pressure converter reduces pressure in the sealing space A, the rubber frame removes the holding of the base material.
