Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monorail working vehicle capable of running on a single railroad rail smoothly without derailing, typically employed as an applicator of a pasty fuel used for heating what is called one-way railroad rails, and a clamp mechanism for use in the working vehicle. SOLUTION: A monorail working vehicle is adapted to run on a rail 16 constituted of a flange 16b supporting thereon a head 16c by means of a web 16a. The working vehicle has, on its body, wheels for running on the rail 16. The working vehicle employs clamp mechanisms each having clamps 22 formed at their lower portions with steps 30 defined by locking parts protruded outward, which clamps are situated practically on both sides of the rail 16 such that the steps 30 engage with the lower angles of the head 16c of the rail 16 to hold the rail 16 tight therebetween.
