PURPOSE: To safely and surely moor a ship by providing a transverse carrier on which a ship is set at a lift-up position above the water level and which can run transversely, and an incline carrier on which the transverse carrier is set and which can move between the lift-up position and the underwater part.

CONSTITUTION: There are provided transverse carriers 1, 2 on which a ship is set at lift-up position above the water level, and there is provided a transverse drive device 11 incorporating transverse rails 3, 4 for guiding the carriers 1, 2, a motor 8 and an endless chain. Further, there is provided an incline carrier 5 on which the transverse carrier 1, 2 is set at the lift-up position above the water level and which can move between the lift-up position and the underwater position. Further, there are provided running guide rails 6 for guiding the incline carrier 5 along a slope and a winch 10 which winds up and off a wire rope 7 so as to move the incline carrier 5 up an down. With this arrangement, a ship is moved up and down between the underwater position and a mooring position, thereby it is possible to safely and surely moor and launch the ship.
