This mooring rope 1 is composed by connecting multiple rubber hoses 2 each other and inserting a chain 3 into a connected unit of the rubber hoses 2 as a rope. Stiffener 7 is buried in the rubber hose 2. This cylindrical stiffener 7 is arranged in the circumferential direction of the rubber hose 2, and is coaxial with the rubber hose 2. To tolerate diameter expansion of the rubber hose 2, the stiffener 7 is installed in a zigzag in the circumferential direction. Total length of the connected unit of rubber hoses 2 is shorter than that of the chain 3.
