The mop 10 is constituted by freely detachably holding a cleaning member 14 composed of fibers on a mop body 13. The mop body 13 includes a holding part 12 composed of two piece-like members 50 whose surface positions are parallel with each other, and the cleaning member 14 is provided in a roughly flat shape including a sheath part 55 for receiving the piece-like member 50 and many cord-like parts 56. The piece-like member 50 is provided so as to be deformed together with the cleaning member 14 following the shape of the gap even if the gap of an area to be cleaned has a curved or wavy shape.
