To obtain a moquette cloth excellent in elasticity, excellently fittable to a curved molded material without being made uneven in fixing the surface of the cloth to the curved molded material, improved in durability, suitable for chairs for furniture, by arranging a spurn yarn excellent in elasticity as a ground yarn.
In a pile woven fabric comprising a ground yarn and a pile yarn, a spun yarn excellent in elasticity is arranged as a ground yarn in the warp direction and/or the weft direction to give a moquette cloth having ≥10% elongation ratio and ≥70% recovery ratio of elongation. The elongation ratio and the recovery ratio of the moquette cloth are further improved when the spun yarn comprising ≥55wt.% of a polyester based eccentric conjugate yarn is used.
