To sufficiently and minutely estimate the morbidity of a subject with high precision on the basis of pulse wave data.
Pulse wave data detected by a pulse wave sensor 11 is stored in a RAM 6. An acceleration pulse wave generating part 21 generates acceleration pulse wave data from the pulse wave data stored in the RAM 6. A normalizing part 22 normalizes acceleration pulse wave data. An attractor derive part 23 derives a chaos attractor 33 from the normalized acceleration pulse wave data. A recurrence plot plotting rate calculating part 24 and an orbit parallel measure calculating part 25 respectively calculate a recurrence plot plotting rate RP-dw, and an orbit parallel measure Γ on the basis of the chaos attractor 33. Thus, a morbidity estimating part 26 estimates the morbidity of the subject by the combination of the recurrence plot plotting rate RP-dw, and the orbit parallel measure Γ by referring to a previously given table.
