Abstract:
To provide a mortar joint formation method capable of performing mortar injection for joint formation without increasing the pressure of press fitting and without increasing the moisture content of mortar.SOLUTION: In a method of forming a mortar joint 4 when large blocks 1 of a refractory of 300 kg or higher per one are piled up to construct an architectural structure, a guide mechanism of matching the position in a horizontal direction of the large blocks to a prescribed position and a spacer 3 of matching the position in a vertical direction of the large blocks 1 to a prescribed position are arranged, the large blocks 1 are arranged on the space 3 and at a prescribed position according to the guide mechanism, after the arrangement of the large blocks 1 at the prescribed position, the guide mechanism is removed, thereafter, the opening part of the joint 4 is subjected to mortar leakage prevention treatment, a vibrator 9 is installed in the large blocks 1, and mortar is press-fitted from a prescribed press fitting port 6 provided at the large blocks 1 while vibrating the large blocks 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
