Title:
MORTAR FOR MAKING RICE BALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3641761
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rice-pounding mortar capable of inhibiting the intrusion of pounded rice into a gap between a rotary shaft hole and a rotary shaft by providing a ring-shaped protrusion edge on the surrounding edge of a rotary shaft hole opened at the center of a mortar body and making the outer diameter of a pulsator to be comparable to or larger than that of the protrusion edge.
SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 4 is inserted into a rotary shaft hole 2 opened at the center of a mortar body 1, a pulsator 6 is fixed to the upper end of the rotary shaft 4, a ring-shaped protrusion edge 3 is formed on the edge of the rotary shaft hole 2 and the outer diameter of the pulsator 6 is made to be comparable to or larger than that of the protrusion edge 3. The ring-shaped protrusion edge 3 is preferably inserted into a ring-shaped groove formed on the lower face of the circumferential edge of the pulsator 6.
