PURPOSE: To provide the radio communication system capable of controlling a radio output power of each base station through remote control.

CONSTITUTION: The system comprising plural base stations 1a-1n and a mobile station (not shown to move in a radio zone of the plural base stations 1a-1n is provided with a base station central management equipment 3 connected to the plural base stations 1a-1n via a private transmission line (control line 2). Control information for each base station is generated and inputted by an input output device 31 of the base station central management equipment 3, a CPU 32 decodes and edits the control information and a control information transmitter-receiver circuit 33 decodes the control information to send it to the control line 2 with respect to the relevant base station. In the relevant base station, the control information from the control line 2 is fetched by a control information transmission reception circuit 12 of the base station, the output power control circuit 13 provided to the transmission section 10 controls the gain of a final stage power amplifier according to the control information to set radio output power to a desired value.
