Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a safe moth-proofing agent consisting of trioxane coated with a photosensitive resin and raised in flashing point.
CONSTITUTION: The objective moth-proofing agent contains trioxane obtained by coating the surface of trioxane crystal with a water-soluble high polymer and then coating the coated surface with a photosensitive resin and an aggregation-preventing agent and irradiating the coated surface with an electromagnetic wave and then curing the photosensitive resin as a main agent. Since this moth-proofing agent has a flash point higher than that of trioxane itself, the agent has extremely high safety on storage, handleability and use and can further control volatilization rate of trioxane.
