Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the luminous element containing a compound having a structure in which two carbazoyl skeletons are bound to each other through a single bond, containing the substance administering the emission between the anode and the cathode, emitting with an electric energy, high in brightness and emission efficiency and excellent in durability.
CONSTITUTION: This element contains a compound of formula I (R1, R2 are H, alkyl, halogen, aryl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl; the carbazoyl skeleton may be connected to a substituent such as an alkyl group), preferably a compound of formula II, in which two carbazoyl skeletons are bound to each other through a single bond.
