Title:
MOTIVE POWER DEVICE HAVING MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60226767
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a motive power device which does not need natural resources as a power source by utilizing a magnetic force as the power source, and detachably inserting a magnetic unit to a gap for reciprocating a magnet to control the magnetism. CONSTITUTION:The body 8 of a motive power device 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape of a nonmagnetic unit as shown, and 3 sets of permanent magnets 10 are slidably disposed in series in the cylinder. In this case, the magnets 10 are disposed so that the adjacent polarity are the same, and the first and second air gaps 12 are formed to generate distances S1, S2 by the repelling forces therebetween. The first and second magnetic units 14 of flat plate shape made or normal magnetic material such as iron are detachably inserted into the gap 12. Thus, when operated as a pile driver, the units 14 are inserted into the gap 12 and detached from the gap to press the pile 6 downward through the member 16 of the lower end of the permanent magnet 10-3 by the repelling force between the magnets 10 and the attracting force to the units 14.
