To provide a motive power device capable of enhancing drivability by easily and accurately controlling the rotation of left and right parts to be driven.
In the motive power device 1, a first rotating machine 11 is rotatably constituted while a first rotation magnetic field and second and first rotors 15, 14 maintain a collinear relationship of te rotation speed, and a second rotating machine 21 is rotatably constituted while a second rotation magnetic field and fourth and third rotors 25, 24 retain a collinear relationship of the rotation speed. First to third elements R1, C1, S1 of a first differential device PS1 are rotated while retaining the collinear relationship of the rotation speed. The second rotor 15 and the first element R1 are connected to a left part WFL to be driven, and the second element C1 and the first and third rotors 14, 24 are connected to an output part 3a of a motor 3. The fourth rotor 25 and the third element S1 are connected to a right part WFR to be driven, and the fifth rotor 33 is connected to the output part 3a of the motor 3 respectively. The first and third rotating machines 11, 31 are connected to each other, and the second and third rotating machines 21, 31 are connected to each other.
