Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and abrasion resistance high and excellent, to reduce a damaging property to an objective material, to provide a proper coefficient of friction stable in temperature and to manufacture a member at low cost by molding a resin material of phenol resin mixed with carbon fiber, aromatic polyamide fiber and graphite.
SOLUTION: Resin for molding is prepared by adding carbon fiber, aromatic polyamide fiber, a nonlinear inorganic filler and graphite to phenol resin and kneading them. An eccentric ring 1 is provided by molding resin for molding and applying it to an adjustable speed pulley A. The eccentric ring 1 forms a transmission surface 1a to a flat belt B on an outer peripheral surface and forms a plural number of recessed grooves to be engaged with the flat belt side along the peripheral direction. Thereafter, it is fitted in a V groove 4 to be partitioned between a pair of V groove forming bodies 2, 3 free to adjust a clearance between them. Tapered surfaces 1b, 1c respectively make contact with slant faces 2a, 3a of each of the groove forming bodies. A complicated contact state where rolling motion of torque transmission and sliding motion of eccentricity are included exists on the tapered surfaces 1b, 1c.
