Abstract:
An electric motor is provided with a rotor, a stator core, an insulator, an aluminum winding, a feed line, a terminal base, and a connection terminal (6). The stator core is provided along the outer circumference of the rotor. The insulator is provided on the stator core. The aluminum winding is wound around the stator core through the insulator. The feed line feeds electricity to the aluminum winding. The terminal base has the feed line disposed thereon. The connection terminal is fixed to the insulator and connects the aluminum winding and the feed line. The connection terminal is provided with a winding connection terminal (7), a feed line connection terminal (8), and an inter-terminal connection portion (9). The winding connection terminal projects in parallel with the rotating shaft of the rotor and is connected to the aluminum winding. The feed line connection terminal is parallel with the winding connection terminal, projects in the same direction as the winding connection terminal, and is connected to the feed line. The inter-terminal connection portion connects an end of the winding connection terminal, which is located on the side opposite to the projection side, and an end of the feed line connection terminal, which is located on the side opposite to the projection side, so that both ends can be energized.
