Abstract:
To obtain a motor which prevents a motor winding from burning due to incorrect wire connection, etc. by noting that positive temperature coefficient thermistor has low cost and small size and an impedance is increased by self-heating.
The motor 2 includes a tap terminal 4 for a strong operation for adjusting an output at multiple step and a tap terminal 5 for a weak operation, drawn from the motor winding 6, and the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 7 inserted in series with the motor winding 6 to increase the impedance by heating. Further, the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 7 is contained in the motor 2.
