To provide a motor control apparatus capable of reducing the estimation error of motor torque and a motor load caused by a temperature change.
The motor control apparatus includes: a temperature sensor 4 and a temperature detection circuit 14 for obtaining an atmospheric temperature; a motor characteristic map storage part 16e storing a predetermined value relating to the motor characteristics used in the calculation of an estimated load corresponding to the atmospheric temperature; and an estimated load calculation part 16b obtaining an estimated load of the motor based on a predetermined value relating to the motor characteristics read out from the motor characteristic map storage part 16e corresponding to the rotation speed, acceleration, drive voltage and atmospheric temperature of the motor.
