Abstract:
To solve the problem when charging a bootstrap circuit of a motor control apparatus in which: it takes more charging time if trying to suppress circuit loss; and the circuit loss increases or a power supply requires more capacity if trying to shorten the charging time.
When charging a bootstrap circuit 106, each phase is gradually charged at a timing lagged by predetermined time and a motor 101 is used as a restriction resistor during charging of a first phase to charge other phases, so that inrush current can be prevented. Therefore, it is possible to downsize a circuit, and decrease charging time while suppressing circuit loss.
