Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a short-circuit fault of semiconductor switch.SOLUTION: A motor controller 100 controlling a motor 18 and including a plurality of semiconductor switches Q1 to Q4, comprises: an H bridge circuit 120 to which the motor 18 is connected; a current detection part R which detects a current flowing in the motor 18; and a control part 140. When the semiconductor switches Q1 and Q3 on one of a high side and a low side are turned-off and the semiconductor switches Q2 and Q4 on the other side are turned-on, the control part 140 detects the short-circuit fault of semiconductor switch 18 on the basis of a current value flowing in the motor 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
