Abstract:
To provide a motor control device having a VR voltage drop prevention function, having a function suitable for detecting a connection failure of a connection line with a battery and an electric power steering device including the same.SOLUTION: A motor control device 25 activates a VR voltage drop prevention function when a power supply voltage VR1 is lower than a first voltage threshold Vth1 and is equal to or higher than a second voltage threshold Vth2 lower than the first voltage threshold Vth1 and stops the VR voltage drop prevention function when the motor power supply voltage VR1 is equal to or higher than the first voltage threshold Vth1 and is lower than the second voltage threshold Vth2. The motor control device determines that a connection failure occurs when a period of time in which the motor power supply voltage VR1 is lower than a third voltage threshold Vth3 lower than the second voltage threshold Vth2 becomes equal to or larger than preset duration time t seconds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
