To provide a motor control device that ensures matching when operations of a plurality of microcomputers stop.SOLUTION: An ECU (motor control device) 101 comprises a plurality of motor drive circuit 701, 702 and a plurality of microcomputers 401, 402. The plurality of microcomputers 401, 402 are operated by microcomputer power sources generated by power source generating circuits 161, 162 connected to respective power sources. At least one of the plurality of microcomputers 401, 402 has a stop determining section 531, 532 that determines that operation of the own microcomputer is about to be stopped and that transmits the information to the other microcomputer as a stop determination signal. The microcomputer that has received a stop determination signal from one or more other microcomputers actually stops an operation of the own microcomputer on the basis of the stop determination signal/signals from at least the other microcomputer/microcomputers. Thereby, even in a case where the timings of stop determination differ between the plurality of microcomputers, actual timings of operation stop can be matched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
