To maintain gate energization of a MOSFET while suppressing power consumption in a non-start-up state of a control circuit, in a device controlling supply of power to a motor by switching the MOSFET.
A motor control device comprises: a motor drive circuit MC for supplying power from a battery B to a motor M; a MOSFET whose drain terminal is connected to the motor M and whose source terminal is grounded, in the motor drive circuit MC; a control circuit 18 applying a control voltage to a gate terminal of the MOSFET in a start-up state; a first path BC1 laid between the control circuit 18 and the gate terminal of the MOSFET; a second path BC2 blanched from a high-voltage side line MCh of the motor drive circuit MC and connected to the first path BC1; a transistor side switch 303 and a gate resistor 111 arranged in series to each other between the source terminal and the gate terminal of the MOSFET; and a pull-up resistor 302 arranged in the second path BC2.
