Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that is advantageous in terms of cost and degree of freedom of design, that can grasp a drive state of a motor with high accuracy, and that can reduce an arithmetic processing burden on a microcomputer.SOLUTION: A motor control device S comprises: a pair of power supply brushes 202 and 203 supplying power to a commutator 204 of a rotor rotating both in a normal direction and in a reverse direction; a rotation detection brush 201 detecting rotation; and control means 10 that is a control center. The rotation detection brush 201 is arranged eccentrically and closely to any one side of the pair of power supply brushes 201 and 202 in a circumferential direction of the commutator 204, and is configured to be applied with a different voltage depending on the rotation direction of the rotor. The control means 10 is configured to detect voltage applied to the rotation detection brush 201 and different depending on the rotation direction, and to determine the rotation direction of the rotor.
