Abstract:
To provide a motor control device that can apply a braking torque to a motor while detecting current of two or more phases even in a one-shunt current detection method.SOLUTION: A motor control device comprises a shunt resistor 4 connected to a DC side of an inverter circuit and generating a signal corresponding to a current value, a PWM signal generation unit 21 for generating a three-phase PWM signal, and a current detection unit 7 for detecting a phase current of the motor on the basis of a signal generated at the shunt resistor and the PWM signal. The PWM signal generation unit performs three-phase modulation so that the current detection unit can detect two-phase currents at timing of two points in a carrier wave cycle of a PWM control, and increases/decreases a duty pulse bidirectionally on a delay side/an advance side with reference to any phase of the carrier wave cycle with respect to one phase, in one direction on the delay side/the advance side more than the reference with respect to the other one phase, and in the direction opposite to the direction with respect to the remaining one phase, respectively. Further, the motor control device comprises a brake control unit 22 that sets the same duty of the three-phase PWM signal to generate a braking torque in the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
