Current operation means obtains a d-axis current and a q-axis current on the basis of a winding current of a motor. Speed control means generates a command d-axis current and a command q-axis current such that a rotational speed coincides with a command rotational speed. Current control means performs control such that the d-axis current and the q-axis current coincide with the command d-axis current and the command q-axis current. Torque data operation means reads out reference load torque data from storage means according to a rotational angle of the motor and obtains load torque data imparted with a gain while subtracting a zero point setting value from the reference load torque data. Variation tendency determination means determines a variation tendency of a variation width of the rotational speed which speed variation range operation means obtains. Gain adjustment means adjusts a value of the gain such that the variation width of the rotational speed is determined to be in a decreasing tendency. Correction means calculates a command q-axis current corrected value on the basis of a current obtained by dividing the load torque data by a torque constant of the motor and corrects the command q-axis current by the command q-axis current corrected value.
