Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller and a motor control method capable of reducing fluctuation of driving torque of a motor.SOLUTION: A motor controller performs control for switching energization of a coil by detection signals of hall elements 101, 102 for detecting a phase of a rotation angle of a rotor magnet in driving control of a stepping motor which is driving object 700. A rotation angle detection part 701 which detects the rotation angle of the rotor magnet acquires the detection signals from the hall elements 101, 102, and outputs normalized signal values to a phase quadrant discrimination part 702. The phase quadrant discrimination part 702 discriminates quadrants of phases concerning the signal values of a plurality of detection signals, and determines a function for calculating a correction value for correcting driving torque characteristics of the motor based on the quadrants of the phases. A driving voltage correction value output part 703 performs control for stabilizing the driving torque of the motor by calculating the correction value for the motor driving voltage by using the determined function to output a driving voltage signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
