To provide a motor controller and a motor control method.
A motor controller includes: a signal generating part which generates a first signal; a sampling part which obtains a pulse number of the first signal contained in each of a plurality of sampling sections having different start timings; and an operation part which calculates motor speed using the pulse number of the first signal obtained on each of the sampling sections.
