Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact motor controller capable of preventing destruction of an inverter circuit or a motor, at a low cost, by suppressing increase in the phase current when three-phase short circuit processing was executed, and suppressing rise of capacitor terminal voltage and rise of phase current flowing to each phase of the motor, even when the inverter circuit is disconnected from a DC power supply.SOLUTION: A switching control section performing ON/OFF control of the switching element in a power conversion circuit has a three-phase short circuit processing command generation unit for starting three-phase short circuit processing at the timing when the maximum value of phase current absolute value of an AC motor after three-phase short circuit processing becomes minimum, when executing three-phase short circuit processing for turning all upper stage side switching elements or all lower stage side switching elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
