Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the rotor turning angle of a motor with a turning angle sensor for a crankshaft.
SOLUTION: A crankshaft of an engine 10 and a rotor of a motor 16 are connected together on the same shaft. An absolute turning angle of the crankshaft is detected by a resolver 22 installed in this crankshaft. An electric current to be produced in the motor 16 when the rotor is rotated and a rotor turning angle are found out of a stator position angularly set up in advance. This rotor turning angle and an initial phase shift of the absolute turning angle of the crankshaft are learned. On the basis of the learnt initial phase shift and an output signal of the resolver 22, the rotor turning angle of the motor 16 is found, whereby control over the motor 16 is carried out.
