Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a drive current cannot be detected at fixed time intervals owing to the detection of the drive current passing through a winding wire of a motor with a timing depending on the duty ratio of PWM signals.SOLUTION: In a motor controller, a PWM signal generation part generates PWM signals based on a drive voltage so that the center timing of a longer period of a period of H level and a period of L level in each PWM cycle coincides with the center timing of each PWM cycle. According to the PWM signals, FETs of a full-bridge circuit (drive circuit) are activated and a drive current of A phase is supplied to a stepping motor. A current detector detects a drive current passing through an A-phase winding wire of the motor based on a voltage appearing at a shunt resistance with a timing in H or L level period arranged in a center portion of each PWM cycle, which is a fixed timing in each PWM cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
