Abstract:
To prevent problems, such as malfunctions of facilities and equipment on the periphery of an inverter and damage to load-side machinery and apparatus, by preventing passage of a ground current, having high-frequency components produced by the switching operation of an switching element, such as IGBT.
A cable 6 covered with a conductive material is used as a cable connecting an inverter 3 and an alternating-current motor 5, and the conductive covering 7 of the cable 6 is connected with the intermediate potential portion of the smoothing capacitor 4 located in the inverter 3.
