Abstract:
To solve the following problem that application of a power regeneration technology to an optical disk device will impair controllability of a rotational speed of a spindle motor.
A first switch 4, a second switch 5, a third switch 6, a fourth switch 7 and a fifth switch 8 for selectively connecting a first capacitor 9 and a second capacitor 10 for storing regenerative power are switched to a total control section 13 in accordance with a rotational speed of the motor 11 by a command, so that addition or subtraction to/from a voltage applied from a power supply 1 is executed, thus controlling it to be a target rotational speed of the motor 11. This constitution can attain a motor controller with high regeneration efficiency.
