Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the torque control performance of a synchronous motor at its driving with a rectangular wave voltage.
SOLUTION: This motor controller carries out the coordinate conversion of currents iu, iv, which flow in a three-phase synchronous motor 8 into dq-axis currents id and iq of a dq-axis coordinate system which rotates in synchronization with the rotation of the motor, calculates a phase δ of the rectangular wave voltage based on d-axis current deviation between a d-axis current command value iq* and a q-axis current iq, and generates a three-phase rectangular wave voltage from a DC power source in accordance with the phase δ, and applies it to the three-phase synchronous motor 8 to drive it.
