Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of protecting a converter while avoiding stopping a machine as much as possible during power supply imbalance.SOLUTION: A motor controller 1 comprise: a converter 13 electrically connected to a three-phase AC power supply 9; an inverter 15 electrically connected to the converter 13 and a motor 3; and a control unit 11 to detect electric current flowing between the three-phase AC power supply 9 and the converter 13 and control the inverter 15. The control unit 11 controls on the basis of values of electric current flowing in the three phases such that the absolute value of electric current flowing in the phase of the maximum electric current value of the three phases of electric current is equal to or less than a predetermined value without reaching zero.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
