Title:
MOTOR COOLING DEVICE AND MOTOR COOLING DEVICE CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022173713
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To suppress a failure or overheat in a motor by detecting a filter clogging with cooling oil without using any particular sensor or the like.SOLUTION: During a normal time, a data table between motor loss based on a motor current I and a temperature difference obtained by subtracting an outside air temperature or an oil temperature Ta from a coil temperature Tc is created. During an actual operation time, a temperature difference measurement value is calculated by subtracting the outside air temperature or the oil temperature Ta from the coil temperature Tc. A temperature difference estimation value is derived from the data table and the motor loss based on the motor current I during the actual operation time. A filter clogging is determined on the basis of the temperature difference measurement value and the temperature difference estimation value. Alternatively, a flow amount in an oil pump 10 is temporarily reduced during the actual operation time, and then, a filter clogging is determined on the basis of a first temperature difference ΔT1 obtained by subtracting a coil temperature Tc1 from an outside air temperature or an oil temperature Ta1 before the reduction operation and a second temperature difference ΔT2 obtained by subtracting a coil temperature Tc2 from an outside air temperature or an oil temperature Ta2 after the reduction operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
